At 914 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking
a strong thunderstorm over Ave Maria, moving west at 10 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts of 45 to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include…
Ave Maria, Golden Gate Estates, Immokalee, Orangetree, Golden Gate,
West Toll Gate On Alligator Alley, Big Corkscrew Island, Vineyards,
Lely Resort, Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, Lely, Bunker Hill,
Intersection I-75 And Everglades Blvd, and Lake Trafford.
