.The White River continues in minor to moderate flood from Anderson
to Elliston…with the crest passing Morgan County points through
early Tuesday. Moderate flooding will continue at Centerton and
Eagle
Valley through Tuesday afternoon…and start at Spencer by midday
Tuesday. Minor flooding to end at Noblesville early Tuesday and at
Nora by Tuesday afternoon…while minor flooding starts at
Edwardsport tonight and at Newberry early Tuesday.
* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE…White River near Nora.
* WHEN…Until early Wednesday morning.
* IMPACTS…At 14.0 feet, High water closes East 77th Street near
Mystic Bay. River Road floods. River Edge Lane and River Road just
north of 86th Street flood. Lowest residential areas begin to
flood on River Edge Lane. High water staff gage readings begin at
14 feet and continue to 25 feet.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 10:00 PM EDT Monday the stage was 14.1 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:00 PM EDT Monday was 17.6 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage
early tomorrow afternoon and continue falling and remain
below flood stage.
– Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
